This past week the East Hampton Town Trustees and commercial fishermen filed a class action suit to secure the right to continue to use their 4×4 vehicles to access the Amagansett Beach as they have done for hundreds of years- beginning with horses that drew the boats to the ocean, followed by the evolution from horses to vehicles.
