Please be advised, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Marine Resources, has designated all public and private certified water bodies in the Town of East Hampton as CLOSED.
That includes all of THREE MILE HARBOR – HOG CREEK – ACCABONAC HARBOR – NAPEAGUE HARBOR – MONTAUK HARBOR AND ALL THEIR TRIBUTARIES, for the harvest of shellfish, due to the heavy rains. The closure will be effective beginning at 10 am on September 27, 2026
