Montauk’s Friends of Erin Parade

Montauk Friends of Erin Parade Trustees boat and school students

This year’s Montauk Friends of Erin Parade took place on March 30th. Joining in the parade were the East Hampton Town Trustees and students of the East Hampton Middle School, seen here with Trustee Ben Dollinger.

The photo, taken by Trustee and Middle School teacher, David Cataletto, was joined by his students who are members of the Surfrider Club and the newly established “Do Good, Be Good Club” that helps our community by doing good deeds for our citizens!

Along with the Trustees, former Southampton Town Trustee, now our Suffolk County Legislator, Ann Welker, joined in the fun by giving parade bystanders the signature Trustees annual green carnations given to the parade bystanders to celebrate the event! Also on hand was Deputy Clerk John Aldred at the wheel of the truck.

The students and Ben Dollinger are in one of the Trustee pump-out boats. The Trustees offer this service free of charge to those in our harbors to keep our waters clean from human waste in our harbors!

To all who came to the parade- A Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all! Until next year…
