Last week the Town of East Hampton’s Natural Resources department began the installation of cordoning off areas that are known to be the sites of where Piping Plovers, an endangered species of birds, are laying their eggs.
Please be aware of the protected Piping Plover nesting locations. Don’t disturb these areas and if you bring your dog to the beach, remember to keep “Fido” away as well!
