“No-Fling Spring” Clean-Ups – April 20- May 18

Christine Ganitsch of the Town’s Litter Committee announced at the last Trustee meeting of March, that the second annual “No-Fling Spring” will take place throughout the Town of East Hampton beginning April 20th and conclude on May 18th with a celebratory dance party for children and adults at the Springs Presbyterian Church.

Several clean-ups will include Springs-Fireplace Road with the East Hampton-Sag Harbor and Springs Citizens Advisory Committees, Bistrian Materials, Mickey’s Carting, and the Litter Committee.

Last year, the Trustees participated with the Lazy Point Association members and have volunteered again to help clean up those beaches and roads. *No date scheduled yet.

“The Story of Plastic,” a documentary, will be shown on May 9th at The East Hampton Public Library, sponsored by the Accabonac Protection Committee (APC) and Concerned Citizens of Montauk (CCOM).

If your neighborhood or group would like to organize a beach clean-up for this event, don’t hesitate to contact the East Hampton Town Litter Committee for more information.
